One Christmas request was an outing to a particular movie with the family.
It's so anticlimactic to have everyone opening gifts and to simply say to the recipient, "Hey, we're gonna take you to the movies, Okay?"
So I made a gigantic ticket stub in illustrator, roughly 6x8 inches. The scissors should give you an idea of the size. I used a hole punch to make all the small notches and used the scissors to cut the big ones.
Taped it into a makeshift book binding (book board + wrapping paper+scrapbook paper that, let's face it, I'll NEVER use for scrapbooking)
Wrapped it with a pretty bow.
And put it together with all the other wrapped gifts to haul upstairs to be opened on Christmas morning.
But not without taking a picture 'cause, hello! I match the wrapping paper!
