Some invites I designed for a baby shower.
As grateful as I am for those that gave me gifts when I had my first child, nearly everything I received was size 3-6 months . After my daughter grew out of those clothes the pickings were pretty slim.
So, whenever I'm throwing a baby shower I like to divide baby's first year into months and spread out "assignments" to each of the guests. Since babies never really stay within the range of predetermined sizes (don't they get the memo?) I like to squeeze 18 months in there as well.

Yay! for no more diapers (well, for her, anyway). Whatever works, right?
I love the shower idea…I'm with you on the practicality issue (in fact, I'd almost prefer receiving no clothes smaller than 6 mos.)
Anyway, hope things are going well for you…

It's funny because I NEVER give baby shower gifts smaller than 6 mos just for that reason! Most kids GROW into things, they don't fit BACK into them!
