For this illustration I used pencil, a little bit of Painter, and finished it off with good old Sharpie and Photoshop.It doesn't matter how carefully I wrapped the Christmas lights last year to prevent tangling. In a flurry to figure out a pettiskirt for my daughter I bought polyester chiffon instead of nylon chiffon.Polyester will fray. A LOT.Unfortunately this is not entirely noticeable while sewing in the wee hours, in poor lighting.The more I touch it the worse it gets. My (almost 3 yr. old) daughter loves glue sticks, glitter and painting. So, we went with that.She finger painted the texture for the waves, made a sun with the circle punch.I cut the fish and some waves from her paintingShe applied glue to the waves, fish, and sun.We tacked everything down together and then got happy with the glitter.
