I had some leftover coffee filters from when I made roses and thought it would be fun to try a "resist" with white crayon and watered down tempera paintIt was kind of fun to see the resist show as the paint mixture soaked up through the filter. Then we got impatient and just started dunking them.
We have no idea what we'll do with them. Maybe make a 3D collage or something...symbolizing a plea for Spring to hurry up already. heh..
A new-to-us favorite are super fluffy pipe-cleaners, or "chenille stems" as they are now called.
